After months of anticpation Chad Vader and Clint have their final showdown in Episode VIII of Chad Vader. The brilliant and extremely low budget Chad Vader series takes place in Empire Super Market where the socially challenged Chad is the day shift manager. Despite the menacing suit, light saber, and force powers, Clint the Night Manager constantly screws with Chad in a plot to take Chad’s day shift job. Will Chad find the inner strength to finally defeat Clint?
Here’s Episode I (far far & away superior to that abysmal Lucas joint, ep 1).
When I was a kid watching the 6 million dollar man, I totally thought the whole bionic super powers would be possible and would be happening soon. So now 30 years later when I should be able to jump over a building, NBC is re-imagining the bionic woman. The style is making me think a bit of Ang Lee’s Hulk. Not sure if this is going to be great, but I’ll be watching it early on especially since I feel dumb for taking two months before I even started watching Heroes (but those original Heroes commercials were pretty wretched).
They yanked the orginal one I had linked from YouTube, but here is another one. The other clips of the show now available on YouTube seem to be sticking to a dark slowish Ang Leeish style I was imagining.
Looks like Nicholas Cage is approaching Sean Connery levels of movie hair pieces. Next is totally the movie I would want to see when I was 12. With this and Ghost Rider young Copola looks to be all about the preteen boys. If there was a little more boob in these films, these could be the beerflixes for the next generation.
The car chase sequence from 1968’s Bullitt:
I will be pissed if Alan Arkin doesn’t win the best supporting actor Oscar. Most believable portrayal of a grandfather ever.
