At home a month ago, I am sitting there watching the Olympics with Bode Miller in the starting house about to take off down the hill for one of his many forgettable olympic runs. But what caught my attention was this kind of chubby parka-wearing dude in the start house who yells in this loud demonic voice: “COME ON BODE MILLER!!! SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!!” Right after these words are spoken, Bode streaks off down the hill and off the course for another DQ. Apparently, the previous night of hanging out with the ladies, drinking beer and watching “Miracle” didn’t help Bode on the course.

It was around this time this idea for a website dedicated to film was percolating in my head. But what was the goal of this site? Were we going to be doing indepth movie reviews and lots of hard work? Were we going to “Show You What We Got!”?… Hell No. Bode showed me the light. It’s not about the hard work, it’s about enjoying the Experience of what you are doing. For me, this site will be about paying homage to the casual movie viewer who likes to kick back, drink a beer and BS about what’s cool and what’s lame. So, thank you Bode. You are my inspiration, because you suck.
